i know it is such a noob question but how much oil goes in a 1FZ-FE petrol landcruiser motor

Approximately 7 - 7.5 litres.

It's more like 11 if you forget to put the sump plug back in.

if you go to http://www.penriteoil.com.au/oil_selector.php and fill in the details, it will give you all the amounts and recomened oil to use
