marks ls1 extractors

is anyone running them and what are your thoughts?
if anyone has pics of them installed or not that would be great. im doing a ls1 swap in my gu and looking at my exhaust options.

Im running them on my 80.. they are just block hugger headers.. not really extractors so to speak (i think we are talkin bout the same thing).. Im sure u can shop around and get them cheaper

thats what i was wondering if they where just over priced block huggers.

yerp they sure are, they arent proper extractors. they are just a 4 into 1 .. i will dig up a pic of mine

these are the std HSV headers, not sureif they will fit in a patrol. but are for sale for $250

thanks very much, i dont think the hsv extractors would come close, there is very little room on the drivers side.

i got there headders to run in my GQ but when u mount the motor DEAD centre of the engin bay ( made my own mounts ) and the motor is to the mm in centre the drivers side his the chasis rail so you have to modify that side only
i think with the marks adaptors mounts they mount the motor off centre?

yeah they do mount them off centre "slightly" im guessing the slightly might be a fare bit

yeh well i was gessing its about 40mm to the passanger side just by were the headders were hitting, but then u stress your xmember mounts for your gearbox unless u make a new member too and i didnt like the idear of the motor being out of square to the car,

make them to suite what u want unless u wanna mount your motor off center buy the marks bolt in stuff direct
