Hi guys im looking at buying a gq patrol and have heard a bunch of different things about them both.ive heard that shortys flip forwards or backwards easy wen on 35s and that the longys are like driving a boat?wat do u guys reckon i should go for?i want to get one that is lifted and on 35s or do u think i should get one with a smaller lift so that it hasnt been punished as bad.i just thought it would be cheaper to buy one already lifted but just unshore if ill be spending extra cash fixing it. opinions please! thanks any help would be great
i run a shorty and personally there awesome in creek beds and for travel with one other person but big stepp climbs are a little hair rasing and for longer trips with more then two people you better off with lwb, so way up your options and what you want it for. Your better off buying on built its a lot cheaper IMO

2 inch spring and 2 inch body is all you need to run 35's on a lwb...hell, you dont even need the body lift if you dont want, it will just scrub a little bit.
it's what i run in mine and i have had it on some pretty scary side angles and am yet to tip it (had the high sides wheels get very light and occassionaly lift, but thats a long way over for that to happen).
