New M/T Claws???

Hey, just heard that a new design Mickey Thompson Claw is going to be released in June? Anyone have more info on this?
I've heard that they are more aggressive, they also have sipes, they come in a 54", and also they will have a different tread pattern to combat slippery side slopes, something about alternated tread blocks or something.
Any more info appreciated.
Cheers, Dano.

Would be keen to see such a change, I rate Claws well except for their ability to go sideways

Nice!
I thought the redesigned tread would have been a little more sideways friendly.....
Anyway looks like the change will make a better tyre! Looks like I might keep buying.....If there available in radial?
Cheers, Daniel.

the TTC was released in June last year, not new. But it only came in 54" at the time. Maybe your rumour was about them?

in the pic above looks like they've ripped off a few lugs? just below the hammer in the blokes hand.

Maybe these aren't the new ones, as I was told by someone in the know that they were a new/revised tread pattern. Something about having stepped blocks in the centre or something, by the way he was explaining it, they must look like a km2 in the middle of the tread....if you get what I mean??? He did mention directional sidewalls as well, and he told me that they can be put on my car (3" lift GQ runs 33's) so no chance of a 54 under there!!!!
Cheers, Dano.

Yeah, almost sure their not the new ones, as the new apparently have sipes in the tread......
Cheers, Dano.

Bias or radial? I don't that the radial Treps would do the same job as a radial Claw......but the bias ply trep would prolly kill a claw...at least the old one!!!
Cheers, Dano.

Thats odd there's zero mention of any new claws in any of the U.S 4x4 mags that I read. But I hope you right, see if you can get more info or pics.

No manure here my mate, I'll double check with old mate to make sure, but lets just say that he's high enough up the ranks to have good info!
Maybe it's a timing thing, might be later than June?....maybe they were to be released in the states in June???? Let me check......

Yes if this new tyre does exist it will be released in the U.S. first and then it normally takes a year before they arrive here.

I e-mailed MT in the U.S. and got sent this below.
We are looking in bringing the TTC in smaller sizes. Can’t release any details at this time. Check back in a few months.
Thanks,
