Is yours the trayback with airbag suspension? If it is that should be a pretty nice set up. As much as i'd love the Hemi it is the other mods that make it work so well off road how they got the long arm kit thru engineering i'd love to know.
A top off blast thru the new clem 7 with no one around would sound pretty sweet in the big V8 maybe a duel with a rangie V8 on You tube could be aranged

might not be wheelin but you just gotta love the sound of big v8 in tunnel.

yes hally it is sweet, i believe a blower for it is on the cards at some stage too
and he just installed one of those exhaust bypass thingies that shoots the exhaust out just behind the block at the push of a button, now that would be simply a scary noise in any tunnel

an update on my mates 7L hemi (the one above), well turns out they are hard to keep on the road, well.....2 blown autos later, 1st one a hemi 545rfe or something, and the second one same type of box but built for 1000hp!! now his 427ci, or whatever it is, is stock and only good for 500-600hp, but cooked both boxes, and the second one was only one 33's and done 1800klms:shock: the 1st one on 37's.
but wait theres more....his brand spankin new built 4 speed atlas only lasted a few months 2!!! it was built for the motor, but went pop!! so the mob he imported the shiat from in the states, wouldn't guarenteea another 4 speed so sent him a built 2 speed, thats holding up so far, well the truck only did 1800klm's with the new xfer and auto so time will tell.
now his waiting to hear from the states to see where to go to from here...................
yup i told him, mate go and buy a rover

ha speakin gof this, the 7L jeep has a exhaust dooby wacka button (i call it the after burner button) that bypasses the exhaust from just down from the headers out the side, gawd dam shes loud then!!! sounds like a top fueller, and scares the crappa outta ya!!!

well kinda, it's only once due to constant breakages!!!
hopefully the mob from the states can sort their shiat and get him gear that doesn't break, as even though its such a pretty truck, like his old one (supercharged tj with all the fruit) he is not scared to wheel it!!

Hemis and jeeps are sooooo good, but really living here it just doesn't make much sense when you drop an LS1/2/whatever in and get all of the aftermarket and local knowledge.
What did he break in the atlas?
We have been abusing one for years behind 42's and tuned LS2's without any issues.
The only thing that has ever broken is the standard 27 spline front output, but since upgrading to 32 spline it has been rock solid.
Was it the actual case or the overdrive unit?
Would be very interested to hear...
