vehicle vibrating

I have a 97 3.5 V6 DOHC love my baby has taken 14 tears to get it when idling there is no problem but when driving vehicle vibrates like hell please can anybody give me any ideas as to what the problem may be

where abouts are the vibes coming from? steering wheel? can you feel it in the seat?

If the vibration is related to engine speed, it could be a cylinder misfiring. If so, it could be spark or fuel. If you have access to someone with an ignition analyser, they could look at the voltage profiles and tell you for sure. Otherwise if it is fuel, it is a bit harder to diagnose.
You may be able to use your radio and tune it off station and turn the volume up high. See if there is static and if the static increases when it is vibrating. If so, it is almost certainly electrical. You may have to replace your high tension leads and spark plugs.
Being a DOHC engine is could eve be valves, but I think you would hear some clattering from the engine then.

If it vibrates like hell I'd say take it to a specialist
have a good lok underneath that everything is tight, check all your tyres, get them balanced, check gearbox and engine mounts, universal joints in driveshafts for movement.

The vibrating appears to have been the waterpump packing up it gave up the ghost today
