Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi guys
i brought a vitara for parts about a year ago and the guy i brought it off also gave me sum reducion gears for low range that he hadnt put in yet so last weekend i decied i was going to fit them and to my surprise they were wrong there are five gears and from what ive found i only need 3 for low range reduction , so i was just woundering if anyone could sheed sum light on the subject and if they no what they are for so i can sell them and get the rite ones. im thinking they are for a different model vitara . cant call him cause i lost his number incase use were woundering

thanx man im wanting to get it finished just needs a few more things doing like these reduction gears haha

Hi Preecy,

It looks like you have an extra gear or two in the pile, most likley a standard ratio counter shaft gearset (the "2 gear thing bit"). Have a look round the main zook suppliers sites and check the pictures they show for the gears. What brand/ratio is the gear set you have?

Yeah the smaller h pattern gear seems to be the same the normal reduction low range gear for the Vitara all the rest seem to be different but thanx for ur advice
