I crashed my lux today
creamed the hatchback infront of me. Busted the bumper on my rig.

Any how... now that I need to replace my 2 lower bumpers I'm going to be chasing a bull bar of sorts.

I like some of the custom bars around and some of the factory ones.

I was wondering if people would mind posting some frontal shots of their bar work.

cheers

I think if you were to pull in front of a prime mover and left an unsafe stopping distance then yes it would be the person in front's (your) fault and there may be a chance that hed get off. But if you were in the same lane as him for an appreciable amount of time then he should have allowed a safe stopping distance in case you emergency braked for any reason. Im afraid this is where you look to be. The whole idea is that if this person stopped for a run away stroller then you should be able to stop before shunting them over it. All comes down to bad luck really. :(

Hybrid yer that's what I thought. Tis a bummer.
I'm going to get the blame. No way out of it.

Anyone who saw the accident would agree Mr.Hatchback got his license from a bran box.

Just to Hijack this post for a second for some funny shit.

I had just got myself a ZZR250 Road bike and decided to ride behind my Mother in-law at the time who was driving my year old VT Commodore.

I was following behind my brother in law who was driving his car and my mother inlaw was driving my car beside him and I was following on the bike.

Brother inlaw was about a car's lengh behind the mother inlaw in the opposite lane. and I was following him.

As we approached the traffic lights they turned orange, Due to the brother in law being behind the mother inlaw I decided to change lanes to get behind her since she was further in front.

Only problem is that she decided to stop, I locked up the bike and had it sideways, lucky for me I let off the brakes just in time to skid around the side.

Brother inlaw made it through the lights no worries.

I can just imagine talking to my insurance company having to explain that I was the owner of both vechicles involved.

 Sorry, your post just reminded me and I wanted to share :P

Tibbs: new to road bikes?? a tip for heavy braking, dont even use the rear brake, there way to easy to lock up and plus they only do about 15% of the stoping uner heaving braking.. ive had my bike sideways one to many times :(

here is a pic of my bar, i think its the same one junglist posted.. the brand is breaker (i think)
