16" rims for my MQ

So what will fit? I am thinking something from another truck such as a Toyo or the like. Looking for cheap options right now to I can fit some 34" tires I have laying around. Hate my 5 spoke 15's and the 34's are for 16" rim's.

Junkyard rims that will bolt on my MQ are what I am after. Nothing flashy and no manufacturer emblems on them.

anything with the Toyota or Nissan 6 stud bolt pattern will fit

the center hole might have to be opened up to fit over the front hub and the indipendent front end wheels seem to have too much negitive offset.i tried a set from a pathfinder and the hole was too small and after opening up the hole in the center when they were on they hit the tie rod end.steel chrome toyota rims from a early 80s solid axle will fit over the hub.i put a set of aftermarket rims on mine and they fit fine.i have 34 950 swampers on mine with no lift-yet

Heya Screwy....I tried some one piece 16" steel rims from a G60 and they don't fit, rub on the front discs.

Sledhead....so are you saying any 1980's Toyo 16" steel rims will fit?? Got a picture of how they look?? My MQ is liftless for the time being but I got the 34's just sitting here. BTW, I think I may go SOA on this truck....it is looking easier every day! ;)

as long as they clear the hub and dont have a lot of neg offset they should fit.my 34s are mounted on 15 inch wheels and theyclear the rotors and calipers.mine had 16inch split rims when i got it.i might be able to borrow a set of late model toyalloys to see if they fit.just have to check with a friend and see if he still has them.the toy rims i tried before were the chrome 15s from a solid axle pu.the nissan rims were from a mid 90s pathfinder.

if the MQ hubs are the same size as a GQ, Then factory toy rims may not fit. The stud pattern is the same and they usually have a better off-set. But the hole in the middle is a little bit to small, if they are steel just get the grinder out and make the hole abit bigger untill they fit.

Most aftermarket steel/Alloy rims in AUS are designed with the toy off-set, but with the center hub hole big enough to fit a Nissan hub.
The rims I have at the moment are Steel 15x8 rims with 35"mtr's on them and they came of a cruiser ute (75series). And they fit with no rubbing at all by rim or tyre.

Just track down a set with about -28 or at least -10 offset that way they will clear nicely
