G'day All.
I am getting a 2" suspension lift in my BJ42.
King springs and Tough dog shocks.
Just wondering, Will this fit 33 x 12.5 tyres underneath with no hassles?
Cheers

Should be right mate. I've got 33'' on with no lift but I had to chop the guards a bit. Full lock and under flex it just touches so 2 inches should give you enough to avoid these issues.

Thanks for the feedback fellas.
What would your reccomend in place of Kingsprings that are about the same price?

depends on your budjet but look into mobs that do more 4x4 stuff than say the likes of kings
alot of fj40 stufff thats around is stiff as hell and dont offer much flex ..
you will also need to figure out if its going to carry loads , tow or be slightly more off road than on .this will help with what type of sussy you get
old man emu , terrain tammer , dobsons , are just a few that are good but as i said you need to know what u need it for 1st

Hi All
I'm looking at getting a 2" suspension lift for my BJ40 as well so I can 33's underneath. I would be interested in what people recommend in the way of shocks and springs. My 40 is going to spend about 70%-80% of it's time off road. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

theres lots of options out there from off the shelf to home grown mods. get a clear understanding of what you want out of your suspension and your budget and go from there. theres lots of info in the cruiser bible if you want to do stuff yourself. check out my build thread and ricks if you want to see what you can get out of home grown mods.
