g'day everyone just picked my new 4b(gu cab chassis) and it has a spare battery tray with some sort of solenoid, iam going tbe running a fridge and a light, just want to know if this will discharge my starting battery?

the tray will fit a battery 310mm long same as existing one, what size deep cycle could i fit in here(amp hours?

i also have a piranha management system would i be better off installing this or will the solenoid system do the trick?

i need it for the weekend :D

The solenoid will work just fine, my set up uses just a solenoid and given me no problem. If you've already got the Pirahna setup then perhaps put it to use but I wouldn't be rushing and besides if whats there works save yourself the hassle. Don't know what amp hour rating you would fit in but have you thought about using a cranking battery? No they don't like being drained flat but most appliances have low voltage cut out so you won't run it flat and for just a weekend you are unlikely to flatten it anyway.
