Hi Guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to use a 2F (gar reduction) starter motor in a f motor.

The f starter motor was removed before I bought the vehicle however I had a spare 2F hanging around. Done want to pay for a another one if I dont have to. Advice would be appreciated.

Pretty sure the bolt hole spacing is much smaller on the reduction starters. The direct drive ones are heaps bigger.

direct will fit, reduction wont.
