PROBLEM WITH 96' MODEL MJ TRITON..

Just bought a 96' Model MJ Triton and it isn't runnin properly, mostly when you are just reving above an idle it kind of jumps or when you're doing over 100km/h it pulls back and doesn't wanna keep going until i take my foot off the accelerator.

I've change the Fuel Filter, Plugs, Leads, Air Filter, Oil, Belts and i'm changing the Coil tomorrow.

I spoke to the mechanic and i just have to change these few things but it might end up being the carby, not sure of what exactly it is but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers,

Straussy.

check the carby as it might have some dirt in the jets, the float level might not be right, or it might be sucking in air. Also with these carby's make sure the secondary diaphragm holds vacuum. if it doesn't then you are running on one barrell in the carby and losing lots of power over 3500rpm.
