Did it drop (freefall) down or did you power it down and it stayed down?
Has the window been running slow lately?
Can you hear the motor trying to work, but sounds like not enough power to lift the window?
Try lubing the window guides. The windows were going slow in my car and eventually would stop. The advice I was given was to use silicone spray on the guides. 6 months later and they are still running like new.

I tried the silicone spray and it worked OK .. then I tried some of the "glide" spray that has teflon goop in it .. leaves a dry film behind .. works great and being dry does not attract dust etc.

I fixed it today it had run down to end and jamed up lucky no damage just very tight with room. Sprayed the tracks and it goes like a new one.
