Hi ... i am wanting to fit 33s to my 2002 gu cab chassis ... ... do i need to make any changes to my gearing ... cheers

That is up to you.
Put them on and try.
Some people do some dont, some are happy with the loss of power, others not. fawkin expensive to change gearing.. $1000 per diff for the gears + fitting if you go new.

bolt them on and drive, they have enough torque, i can hardly tell, they will fit on a stock truck as well.

I put 33's on mine as daily drivers and it actually gets the speedo nearly perfect. At 100kmh on the speedo i am actually doing 101kmh according to the GPS. As for power loss i can't tell you i noticed anything from 32's to 33's. With the 36's on it sucks though!
