If you know that it is a GT28, then other variations are:

A/R of turbine housing - this is cast on the housing in largish letters
Outside diameter (exducer) of compressor impeller (have to remove housing).
Diameter of compressor impeller at inlet (inducer).

These are the main variables that affect performance and if it is one of Garretts stock line, you can use them to cross reference the turbo in their catalogue.

If it is a turbo produced by Garrett for a specific engine, then it could vary with angle of turbine inlet, compressor outlet, location of wastegate actuator etc.

Turns out the person that "Knows" about turbo's need to go back to Turbo College and get some Edjamakation.

I have looked into the Gt28 turbo and its nothing like this one....

Is any 1 able to assist in identifying it???

Based on 432277-5 - looks like you have a T3 from a VL (or possibly the same engine in a nissan).

Based on those numbers the core is for a VL turbo. Unfortunately it looks like your turbo may have been dusted.
