Remove exhaust manifold
fit turbo manifold
fit turbo
fit oil & water lines to turbo
fit air intake
start engine
will go faster

after the fit air intake part, unplug fuel solenoid from injector pump and crank for 20 sec, gets oil all through the turbo before starting for the first time, will make your turbo last alot longer

not hard mate, dont waste time with a standard turbo, save abit extra and go gt28 or something along them lines, standard turbos on the 4.2 are hopeless,

i think the gt2860 turbo is around the 2500 fully fitted and tuned , bit pricey but they are a great setup on the 4.2s , very torquey very reliable, sound great :), if your interested i can get a number for you from a bloke in gympie qld that can do this for this price, which is quite cheap, and your truck will be a total different machine
