surge while driving

Post by red devil »

this may be a silly question.

i was out wheeling on the weekend and found i had a small surge when driving up the hill in 4x4 high. this did not happen offen.

felt like when u drive over ice the wheel slips.

Yes i was driving in the alps but i was only on the access road and it was dry and dusty.

I had replace the transfer box about 4 mounths ago due to the chain sliping.

has any on got any ideas please.

It wasn't clutch slippage while under load ???
A t/case chain slipping makes a noise similar to running a metal ruler through the spokes of a bike a metallic twang twang twang sort of sound.
