Hi

Recently bought a 105 series tojo and after finished adding all my new barwork i am now at the stage of upgrading the suspension.
This time around my truck is going to be a family/club tourer and not set up like my previous trucks for tougher challenge driving.
Is a typical H/D 2 inch kit going to be enough for a Hungy on 33s (305/70s) and will it give me enough clearance to keep the body out of harms way ?
Or should i go 3 inch for a bit more height ?

Cheers

Grant.

Really onyl you can answer that Grant. 2" will be Ok for 33's but as for the question as to whether it will give enough clearance/protection for the body that really depends on what sort of tracks you intend to drive and how. Plenty of 2" lifted straight rigs running around as long as you don't the itch to take it where you took you previous rides. And whether the extra 1" will make a great difference needs to be answered the same way. Me I think 3" is a great compromise but 2" inch is very easy and cheap and less hassles if you can live with it.

Travelling australia you're not going to find any track that needs more than stock height and 31's for you to get past.

My advice stick with the standard 2 inch. It keeps things simpler in the mechanical department. It also makes accessing the truck easier which, unless you're a family of giants will make living out of it easier.
