No, not that much work, a lazy half day will see it done, its not that hard, get a manual and have a crack yourself, maybe someone here who is near your place can help you out. Reminds me I REALLY need to do mine too.

You can easily get the wheel bearings done yourself, $560 just for this alone is............insane.

hmm, i'm not sure if i have the tools and the knowledge to do this.
Is there anybody around Perth who could help me? I would be very grateful.

560 would be closer to a cv repack with new seals everywhere.
Check what work he is actually doing.
just replacing the bearings is a 1.5-2 hr job at most.
good quality jap bearings are around 50 bucks a side at the most. (trade can be much cheaper)

If you are'nt confident in doing the bearings and like 4wding i really suggest you take this opportunity to learn some basics, wheel bearings are an easy job, find someone to point you in the right direction and start learning the wonderful world of mechanical work.

only tools needed are a simple socket set, maybe a hammer and a screwdriver if you dont have a hub socket and some grease
