Ok heres the go:

1 x hzj105r 1hz cruiser with a stuffed fuel cut solenoid :x (the anti theft one that requires the pump removed and dismantled) I am looking to have the pump rebuilt while it's out and I am half way through sourcing all the bits i need for a turbo install.

I need to know if I can have the boost compensator installed in the pump while it's apart, and still drive normally without the turbo while I am finishing that part off?

Please don't tell me not to bother with the boost compensator in my turbo system, I have already decided to go with one.

Cheers

i don't know the fuel pump they have but generally it should be fine. the boost comp just won't do anything until you put the turbo on. won't change non-turbo performance in any way.

It will work. But let whoever is doing it know before hand. Transfer pressures and advance settings alter when more fuel is delivered under boost. Transfer pressure settings may have to be reset on the vehicle if the man has the right tools.
