Check out this Deli V8, it is running a supercharged 1UZ-FE with the Toyota auto, if you look in "Johny got a new motor" on "4 z bch's" photobucket account you can see a heap more pictures. http://s767.photobucket.com/home/4_Z_BCH/index

Also if you join Delica club forum (needed because I don't think you can access the forum otherwise) check out these links
"New Boots 4 My V8 Delica" (Rather wide tyres) http://www.delicaclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=21770

I think they are good threads about his Deli.

There is a video and actual pictures of his install, if I can upload pictures here I will, I hate photobucket, to many links get lost etc.

I am hoping to fit a 4in body lift, 33's, engine and gearbox only spaced down 2" and basically a stock VVT 1UZ or 3UZ using the 5 speed auto due to its lower first gear and similar top gear ratio the Deli's autos have.

"4 z bch" did a 2" body lift to allow the engine to clear the firewall, if you know about Delica V6's (which I own) he has ended up with more room and easier to work on, I am a mechanic and a Delica is far from the worse vehicle to work on, by van standards they are one of the better ones.

I thought about doing a live axle front, I am not the only Deli owner who has, but if I was to do it, I would dump a Deli SWB on a 4.2L GQ Patrol LWB chassis and driveline using a Chev diesel V8(cheap), as it has a close wheel base size and its strength over pos Landbruisers.
