Just wondering if anyone has seen my old 84 tin top sierra floating around?
Most of you would know it as the old rocbox rig, however i sold it about 12 months ago and the guy still hasnt finished paying for it... He has paid for the truck, but not the 37" BFG Krawlers on 17x9" Alloys
I know he painted it and then sold it off on ebay with no papers as an attempt to get me off his back... however i still have these... i have rego papers, receipt of purchase and all the engineers certificates for it, which i would be happy to pass onto the new owner provided i get my tyres back as this is what he hasnt paid for...
If anyone can help me in this i would greatly appreciate it as i am sick of pursuing this guy... i dont care about the money anymore, i just want my wheels and tyres
im away at work so have no pics of my own, however this is a pic i got off auszookers where he was trying to sell it

thanks to all in advance[/img]

Even if you do track down the car I don't think you'll have much luck getting your wheels and tyres. the issue is between you and the guy you sold it to not the third party! Jmo thoughgoid luck

Yep. You may as well throw the papers in the bin and kiss your money/goods goodbye. Will be the last time you let something go without payment.

yeah i been trying him for the last 12 months.... continually... this was kind of like my last resort trying to go to whoever bought it in the hope they wanted the paperwork so they could rego it and sort out some deal with them direct
2G???!!! WOW thats cheap.. i would have bought it back for double that... i know it needed work, mostly fab and metal work but 2G thats crazy

yea i heard the same story about the fines... was his consistant excuse for a long time... your right man, honesty would be nice... wonder what happened to the good old days of shaking a blokes hand and sticking to your word?? as far as im concerned, your word is all you have
so if its rolling on boggers i wonder if he has my old wheels in the shed somewhere?

I always thought about it when Nathan still had it, everyone told me too, i was just alaways too nice to actually do it... Definately no way i could do it to new owner... not his fault

I was actually thinking more along civil lines.
If by chance there was some form of written agreement stating car cost is $XX wheel/tyre cost at a later date is $XX then the prick could be held responsible and you should be able to recover funds.
If it was Car with wheel and tyre is $XX total with split up payments then the prick didn't own the car that he then onsold. You should then be able to recover the funds from him.
Unless you had a registered interest in the car there would be no way you could/should/would be able to go after the car from it's new owner.
If you didn't put anything in writing your chances of getting anything out of the situation are either nil or none.

If you have a written agreement that he is going to pay you $X over a period for particular goods, and he hasn't made the payment, go through the small claims court in your state.
Usually the first letter from the courts saying he is being sued and he'll hand the cash straight over...
Or give him one last chance. Write to him and say something along the lines of:
"You have 28 days to make final payment on <whatever it is> or I will be sseking payment through the courts.
You may not even need to get the courts involved...
