hey still doin the 1.6 conversion haha been lazy lately... jus wondering if u have to swap sumps over or if u can jus keep the 1.6 sump on... my sierra has 2 inch coil lift and 2 inch body lift, incase it makes any difference

hey bud unless you running massive bump stops and so forth you will mangle your sump as the sumps are two different shapes the 1.3 the pumpkin can fit in the middle 1.6 you will end up with a hole. its not that hard to swap them over i would do it if i were you. its the last thing you want to be out wheeling and then put a hole in the sump.

these photos are a 1.6 in a sierra with a 1.6 sump that i quickly slapped
together to move it. the bumpstops where nearly touching the diff and i could fit
my hand between the sump and the diff.
there is a 25mm bumpstop extension.
when the car had lots of lift i never had any issues with the sump and i reckon
moving the diff 20mm forward would solve any clearance issues if there where any.

yeh bud you need to use the 1.3 pick up on the 1.6 block but you also need to use the 1.6 tip the part that bolts into the engine as the 1.3 is skinnyer so you have to cut the top off the 1.6 and 1.3 and then weld the head off the 1.6 onto the 1.3 pick up and away you go. im pretty sure the suzuki stores sell em already done but for like $30 hope this makes sense
