whats invloved in changing a timing belt in a 2.5 diesle courier? Just the 200,000 km service so I am assuming it should be as easy as old one of new one on?

hi gqboy,
did mine in a 2004 courier, thought it would be a big job as in my previous 'lux's and cruisers, but only took about 20 mins, hardest part is to flex the idler pulley away far enough to get slack for the new belt, (un-stretched). but with a big enough lever it wasn't too bad.
one thing to keep in mind, if you ask ford, the belt should be done every 100k, at the same time as adjusting valve clearances, just what ford said.
cheers
Matt
