ARB are the go but are quite pricy (worth the $$$ though)

I have a welded rear (wouldn't do anything else in the rear of a zook)

And will be going ARB up front.

I've been quoted $1300 for my front

Thanks bigsteve

I thought they were that price. I think its cheaper for the second one coz you already have the compressor witht e first one.
Being driving the zook heaps lately so i'm starting to get pretty ticked off with the unlocked situation that I have now.

I think I'll end up getting it for less as I plan to run a different compressor and probably an air tank, not quite sure yet.

P.s. Just weld the rear, you won't look back after that.

I just paid $1220 for rear air locker & arb compressor to suit sierra , It's worth the extra $$$$ for the air locker , great product.

Mine old zook was daily driven and so is my new one.

Just fit bigger tyres, you can hardly feel the welded rear on road

Ill second that. all these people who replace welded with lockers there must be some unwanted ones around that could be donated.

If you can afford ARB air lockers, then go for it, (but make sure air lines are well out of harms way) if not auto lockers are cheaper, but you will notice handling issues on road. I can't afford either, so both mine are welded, and I do a lot of road miles. Of course its harder on parts and tyres, but I haven't had any probs so far (two years welded).. All depends on ya bujet, my bujet is only from a disability support pension, but buying good equipment can save you money. Its all your choice, depends on your tech abilities and life style. good luck, christover.
