Gas Bottle Tech

Post by hudson44 »

I have a small 1.25lt gas bottle that i take camping and it supplies a small 2 burner stove. The problem i have is that there is only adjustment of the flame in the first 5% of the knob on both burners. The rest of the dial is flat out.

So do i need to get a regulator? If so, is there a smaller one specific to the smaller fitting or is the gas bottle stuffed? The fellow at Bunnings seems to think the smaller bottle's regulate themselves. Any ideas?

turn the bottle down... small bottles do regulate themselves because of the small valve size.
