I have a 92 triton that doesnt have air con but i have a air con compressor out of a previous vechical (same motor) sitting in the shed.
Question being is it a big job to add air con to a non air con'd veichle.

Hmmm. big can of worms

can be a pretty big job but doable

cheapest way is two options

1. go to a wreckers and pick up the entire AC system from a similar model vehicle to yours and retrofit it. Bear in mind that some stuff will have to be replaced new anyway like the receiver dryer, but stuff like hoses, pump and the under-dash condenser will be invaluable knowing that it will fit up. Take pics of the set up in the donor vehicle before you pull it out so you know where everything goes

2. buy an aftermarket generic AC kit like vintage air or something and go through the rigmarole of trying to get it all fitted
