I had to sleeve both the slave and master on my GQ. I had them both sleeved to 5/8 , if I remember right. I was using a standard clutch master with vaccum booster and standard slave, I had the same problem . I had the slave sleeved first to 5/8 and was still not quite enough travel , then I had the master sleeved aswell. If you use the master with the booster the pedal remains light even with a heavy pressure plate.
Hope this helps.

I welded a mm at a time to the little what ever you call it till it was right. Just check with your foot of the clutch if there is a tiny little play in the fork which mine had. Make sure it is fully bleed too. If there is no play then you may have to go with what not stock said.

Mine has a sleeved down slave cylinder. Had the same issue.
Extending the push rod from the slave to the fork would work but would make the release bearing run against the clutch all the time.
Not the best thing to do.

Thanks guys i tried exstended the push rod but had the through out bearing touching the pressure plate all the time i might have to go down the sleeveing the slave path ive got a boosted master cylinder so shouldn't make clutch to heavy.
thanks matt
