transfer gears

hello there i own i 93 ford mavrick ute and was wandering if i had low ratio gearing or is it still standed becasue high range fells normal but when i put it inti low range it goes bout 10 ks in second gear doing bout 3 grand worth of revs just wandering thats all cheers looking forward to ur reply to this oh by the way it is a 4.2 diesel if it makes any difference thanks

85% gears will be 45km/h in 5th low at readline.

If its the Marks Adapter gearset you will notice a significant increase in noise from the transfer case over standard. Not an issue with the comp guys, but can get a bit annoying if a touring rig.

I have 85% rock crawler reduction gears, no whining. The speedo dosen't even move above zero until in third gear. That's on 35" tyres and 4.1 diffs.

from memory with my 85% gears,
3rd low equals 1st high but the GU first gear is a bit higher than GQ first gear
