thats becasue the drain plug are out of the floor to allow the water that leaks through the windscreen seal to drain away

my door seals seem to be really good. my rear swinging door not so good, and there was a few holes in the passenger foot well that needed plugging

Nothing wrong with the doorseals- all the water comes in through the other holes in the floor, sills, gearshift boot, past the door cards once the doors fill up... It takes lots of time and care to seal it all up. Personally, I don't bother too much- you'll never stop it, you mostly need to let it out quicky

yup - my door seals are great and hardly leak - however i HAVE to have the floor plugs out because otherwise i float when i go into a deep puddle and fall out of the rut or lose my line... not cool! lol
with 31's it takes me about 3 seconds to sink with floor plugs in (if i go into the water fast), and theres no floatation at all with plugs out.
