A mate just bought an 89 4runner... i think it is 2nd generation if thats right? 4 door model.
I am looking for some pictures for inspiration for him... specifications would be good too.

will he need that much lift to fit 33's? 3" body lift and 2" suspension...
seems a bit extreme... i read somewhere u could fit 32's on stock.

2" body lift... guard cutting if it needs it.. and mod the bump stops for more down travel. Should be able to fit 33"s with that (thats all im planning for mine, and is what most people run to begin)

That's only from installing the engine management, it'll be a lot more when the turbo and intercooler go on....
The 10% gain was with loosing the extractors and going to a std. manifold too!! So would have been more of a gain if the extractors and twin system was kept.
Also I only need that much lift becuase of the 15x10's with big offset. They still scrub with that much!! but look cool !!

Shite photo, but it started life as a Hilux Surf / 4Runner. Leyland P76 V8 opened up to 5 litre, Toyota auto tranny, Prado chassis and running gear.
Came 1st in 2003 NZ Winch Challenge & 2nd in 2004 Outback Challenge.
