GQ Patrol Rust

Gday fellas

Where is the most common spots a GQ wagon would rust in?

On mine I've found the following;

-Under the seals around the rear sliding windows
-Right rear barn door near the latch (its starting to crack from carrying the spare)
-Under rain gutters (but that was becuase of a shitty panel beating job)

Just remember to pull the rubber bungs from the rear lower qtr panels after water xing's as you can get water trapped in there.

Other than that, no probs for me.

Deanos right on the money.

One remedy to fix the sliding windows would to be to install fixed windows - sometihng im plannin on doin very shortly.

Just about to purchase a Mav and wondering what the cost would be to cut the rust out of the rear windows?

You cant, you replace the window frames. They are only ~$200ea and the new ones will last 10+ yrs, so $20 a yr is cheap
