The switch in the interior light, or the ground wire from the switch to the roof.

The light has a +12V constant, and the door switches complete the ground when they are open.

When you switch it to the ON position it grounds directly to the roof.

So if you have lights working for the DOOR mode, then your +12V upply is working, and the only problem could be the switch, or the ground from the switch to the roof.

I think there may not even be a ground wire, just a screw that goes through the light, contacting a metal section of the switch area, and into the metal of the roof which is the ground.

Check this screw first, you might need to pull the light out and clean the screw area etc on the roof.
