Return to the Valley of the Bog

Hello all,
The lads that came with us on the latest SA outing will know what i'm on about...
Well today I went back to see how our "Pruning" looked like the day after. Well it looked a little better than yesterday as the overnight rain had "neatened" things up abit.
But due to the overnight rain and continuing rain, the creek is now a flowing river!!! The current was so strong that as i was going through the crossing with the big cement pipe in it the back of the Roza started to spin around. Scary stuff.
There was also a pretty deep crossing, so I stopped in it to see how deep it really was. About and inch above the bottom of my door. It wasn't until later i realised how stupid it was as the passenger side footwell is now full of water!
Last but not least, I'm sure you can remember the first crossing we came to. The one with the really slippery bank. Well i was going the opposite way to what we did it and due to an unplanned slide of the rear wheels i found my self looking at the ground through the passenger window with both the drivers side wheels in the air for a brief moment. It was then time to go home.
So until next time folks
Dangerous Dave.
PS, Yes this post will be avaliable in paper back!
