If you need more amps then you can get a higher amp output alternator or get your original alternator rebuilt to produce a higher amp output

24V alternator can be mounted above the standard alt on the passenger side, Driven By a V-belt pulley which can be clamped onto the front of the power steer pulley. Brackets will be custom. Contact MR sheetmetal in Nambour, QLD. He has done a few brackets, he may have templates?

There is a mounting kit available for a sanden type compressor (endless air type) that locates it high on the drivers side, and is driven off the original rib belt (or a longer version of)

Marks have a secondary alt mount, relocation kit for original and A/C compressor mount which moves the compressor closer to the block

Oh, second alt runs of the serpentine aswell

It is overpriced, likely they are a GM part that could be sourced far cheaper

But I never chased them up, I'm not paying ;)
