Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys;

My drivers side window winder mechanism is broken, the window will wind up to about 3/4 of the way, the just make a grinding noise and fall down. How do i fix it? I have an 89 sierra. The reason i havent asked is because ive got checker plate panels pop rivited on to the inside so i wanna kinda know what im going to be looking at before i start drillin rivits out

has anyone done this before?

You window regulator is stuffed...

You will need to remove the door trim and replace the regulator. You will be able to find them on ebay, parts shops or motor wreckers.
