Gday guys,

Im sure loads of you have them and loads of you have had to work this out....

My SWB had some shit side steps on it when i bought it and they were mounted poorly.

ive cut them off and have just finished bending up my slider rails.

I am interested to see how others on outers have mounted there sliders...

I can easily run 2 mounts and it will be strong enough for most use, however i want to be able to run an exo cage off this sometime in the future possibly.....

GQ SWBs have alot of shit in the way on the outer chassis rail, front area has body mount and lower control arm mount and gearbox crossmember mount, and right at the back has the rear lower control arm mount and chassis.....

any pics of ppl who have work this out would be great. I have a few ideas in mind though other ideas i cant see are very appreciated.

Cheers

Jeff, my shorty sliders had a U shape made out of plate and bolted through the top over the chassis, alot easier if you have a body lift which mine didnt but i just massarged the floor to make the room and it also had a bolt through the body mount at the front aswell. It was very strong and didnt move, if i have pics ill sms them to you.

So only 2 mounting points???

I want 3 and want them to be closer to the edges so if i ever do an exo cage they will be strong enough.....
