rocky lump in a feroza

hi ya guys :) i have a sports track withe a blown engine, i think they are called ferozas in australia, would an engine from a fourtrack or rocky go in a feroza and what complications would there be, iam thinking of the 2.8 turbo engine, .............petemg

I don't know if it would fit or not, but IMHO you'd want to swap the entire Rocky drive train into the Feroza body (ie. gearbox, transfer case, diffs etc.) Otherwise the torque from the diesel engine would quickly break things.

You'd also have problems with the weight difference between the engines- diesels are usually very heavy.

Based on my experience, anything above 2.5L diesel engine will
probably be very long making your propeller shaft angle steep.
I did a diesel engine swap lately. I used a 2.0L RT turbo diesel
engine from a Kia Sportage. Check out the swap in:
