i was wondering if anyone would mind telling me how to use a stub axle and the bearing and cup that sits on top for a rear wheel carrier? what is the name of the tapered cup that is bolted to the stub? i don't know much about the cup set up but i have re-done the bearings on the trailer and it ain't that hard. any good spots near riverstone where i could buy a complete set?

Flangeless hub is what you're looking for.

most trailer shops should have them. prob looking at under 30 bucks for stub, nut and flangeless hub. some dont have the flangeless one but a grinder will soon cut the bits u dont want off.

I have tried a trailer shop for a flangeless hub and they looked at me like I am stupid. I have seen them online but but fark $70 is a bit steep! Anyone got any ideas on where to get them from without costing $70, I don't need anything else I already have the stub just the flange would be fine.

I saw these and just bought the bearings and got a mate to machine one up. Why dont you go to machine shop and see what they would charge

I've been quoted $220 to get a flangeless hub machined up as a 'one off' on a CNC lathe at a local engineering co. The more you get done the cheaper they get, but how many do you need.
