J10 Project

A mate of mine just scored a J10 at the right price with an engineered 302 windsor in it little bit of rust and needs some TLC.

We're gonna change the rear spring mounts and go spoa in the front so we can squeeze in some 35's
gonna build a custom tray and bar work am sure it will turn out to be a pretty tiough truck when it's done

Sounds great m8, where abouts are you would love to come have a look, maybe bring our family J10 over and have comparo ;)

I know where there are two in Townsville 5k for both without haggling.

One is mid restore still lotsa work the other is/was a runner not that long ago.

If your going 35's them you may need to swap out the axles. Re-gear for the AMC 20 is possible for 4.11 but the Dana 44 will only take 4.09 and - it's an expensive jobby.

If your running the auto, you may get away with it but if it's a manual box then it will struggle.....
