I have a 4 door Grand Vitra and need new tyres, it currently has 235/60/16, I am doing a trip across the Simpson next year and need new tyres, what are the best All Terrain tyres for my little car?

first of all - keep the size the same - you dont want to run into gearing trouble!

I reckon Cooper STTs are great all round... but im biased because i've owned them before. I've not driven on the new KM2's but they also look pretty decent, although maybe more aggressive than the cooper.

I dont agree with alien.

I would get slightly larger tyres... this will give you more options as to brands, tread patterns and also give more clearance under the chassis rails which you will possibly need.

I would consider a cooper STT and maxxis make a couple too..

I run a 245/70 on mine and its fine... but you will need some lift to fit these.

I agree a 245/70 is the way to go but stay away from coopers they tend to not like the heat and seperate maxxis will give you good bang for you buck. Aim for at least an 8 ply.
