I have a mate with an 03 Jackeroo he's looking at buying a set of Maxxis AT 771 Tyres to go under it, and wants to know what anyone who has used them thinks. He does mostly on road some beach and a little dirt and mud 4wding, showed me a pic of them they look fairly closed tread to me. Any feedback would be great thanks.

I have fitted one set to a mate's Hilux. The sidewalls seem very soft but he has been very happy with them so far, he did say they clog up in thick mud but they are an all terrain at the end of the day.

Thanks guys, they're the AT Bravo 771 series, I agree Rednut they look more like a road tyre than an all terrain, chunks has your mate said how they go on a wet creek crossing exit

We didn't get that specific, but he took them down through Tom Groggin and across the Murray River with no worries, he just said in clay mud they clogged which is to be expected.

for what you described he would be using them for they would be fine, no point going a mud tyre if he only does mud stuff once in a blue moon
