ALIVE.... ALIVE!!!!!! Roza is now ALIVE! its offical!!!! she cranked over for the first time today, choked, died, cranked over a few more times. then i poured some more gas into the tank... cranked, caught, choked, died....
tried one more time... cranked, caught, roared to life and sounded sweet! brought me to tears... even now....
fellas.. roza is back! now i got some minor work to do before i can start driving it... which should be sometime next month after i get back from flyin home for vacation.... got a slight leak in one of the hoses for the water heater.. may just need to tighten it a bit, also gotta patch the damn transfer case again, and i also need to put the hood back on and wash her as well. it also seems like my clutch is now close to being shot. before i tore it all apart, it gripped pretty good but was a bit low but it seems the clutch has broken up due to taking it apart... so now i will most likely have to replace it... ;sighs; wont complain though, shes running!
sand dunes here i come....

Your dedication to the the daihatsu legacy is admirable. You should consider driving within the design specs of the vehicle to ensure trouble free motoring in future. Follow your owners manual instructions and do as I say and not as I do.

Actually Dangerous Dave has got some good driving techniques for mud that should added to the manual.
eg:
the rev limiter is used to control your ascent speed on a muddy creek bank
and
road tyres will get you everywhere- you just need to hit everything harder and faster!
He climbed out of the same spot that Sam's Cruiser got bogged in- and Sam's got a front locker and 33" mud tyres. Dave's Feroza is stocker than mine in the tyre / suspension area.....
