ARB locker switches

hey guys
i borught a twin locked range rover classic
the lockers have been wired up so that i cant flick on the front locker without having the rear one on
is this standard wiring set up? can i switch around a few wires to use the front independant of the rear?

Thats how they come. In general use it wont be an issue.
If you 'really' need to yes you can mod the loom.

Yes that's standard. Very easy to fix, I've done it to mine.
At the moment your switches are set up so the front locker switch gets it's power from the out put side of the rear switch (so front switch only gets power when rear switch is on). All you have to do is find the 12 volt wire going to the rear switch, and piggy back it to the input side of the front switch. That way both switches have power to them.
Takes about 10 minutes, a short length of wire, and 2 crimp terminals.
I can check wiring colors tomorrow if you need them.

Switch 1 is rear locker, switch 2 is front locker, isolation switch is compressor switch.
On all 3 switches pin 2 is the power input, pin 3 is the output.
Disconnect and insulate the connector at switch 2 pin 2 (yellow wire).
Run a piggy back wire from switch 1 pin 2 (red wire), to switch 2 pin 2.
Problem solved.
