Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have a new RD70 air locker which needs to be installed, i have a new bearing kit including pinion bearings that i want used insted of the originals as they are many km's old and a bit sad. where in bris wold be the best & cheapest to fit this all to my ute or does anyone know how to do it properly that wants to do a cash job for me?

dont knot if allowed to mention names but the lard 3 lettered company that sells and fitts air lockers and advertises them that starts with A.. Rooted mine and damaged my dashboard when installing the wiring ( even after i told them not ot do wiring as i dont rust anyone doing it, im an electrician) they opened my dash with a screw driver and practically accused me of bullshiting them when i noticed it. ( 30,000 klm old truck) took lot of stuffing around and pone calls to get it all sorted.

i then did my rear myself, not very hard, they give u instructions, i dowloaded the nissan workshop manual ( nissan one) as i bought a max elleries workshop manual and found it very basic on information and also incorrect on some information. ( torque settings were stated in distances was quiet hilarious)
once i had the correct info from teh nissan manual its all easy.

u will need a dial indicator, torque wrench that can read as low as 2 nm and one that will read between 150 and 200 nm. and a good vice. mine took me about 4 hours and bout half a carton.

failing that when u do it urself if u stuff the air line tuve i.e kink it ( copper) apparently there like 180$ and also if u get a oil leak or failure u have to pull it out and fix urself. my mate paid Mobi Diffs at aranda street in slacks creek to do his fronts and backs ( and he's a fitter by trade) just he's lazy. think it was abotu 300 per diff to fit and install. but dont quote me on those prices.
that was including replacing his pinion bearings and shims etc.

have used him for gearbox rebuilds in fourbies and race cars and is very good from my experiences.

personally for the $ ide pay them to do it as if u dont have the equipment u will spend about 300 on average tools ( torque wrench's) to do and they give warranty.

it'd be a bit of a drive but moreton automotive in nerangba (20mins north of brisbane) does a top job and he's pretty cheap. No worries rebuilding your diff at the same time.

Any diff shop $150 to $200 to fit mate, thats if u take the diff out and take it to the shop.

johnsons transmissions at brendale is great, if u can pull the diff out and take it to him it will save u big bucks

No matter which state, id suggest the best place to fit an air locker is into your diff
