Maxi drive lockers

I need some help with hooking up front and rear maxi drives, i have a pile of bits i got second hand and not real sure how it all goes to geather, as in all the air hoses and wiring. If anyone has any instructions or pictures of their setup, that would be really great.

It is not hard.

There are 3 hoses and one wire. The wire sends -ve to the light.

For the 3 hoses, one is the breather, on is for activation, and one is for deactivation. Which is which depends on if you are using compressed air or vaccum.


If using compressed air, don't go above 20 psi.

I have often thought about it over the past ten years on and off, and never have given it a go. Have been wanting to do it for ages.
Ive never liked the idea of vacuum since a line broke in the middle of a muddy creek and sucked in heaps of water and eventually the line blocked up with mud. Wasn't that an effort to clean out.

Realistically anthing that works off vacuum could be run off low pressure compressed air if you can hook it up backwards.... unfortunately the reverse isn't often true, since stuff that is designed to run on compressed air usually runs a decent amount of pressure!

Yep. I have been running mine on 15psi compressed air since new.
