Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Mate owns a 94 80 series cruiser, 4.5lt EFI petrol auto, would liked to get auto checked out and service properly, has a slight whine sometimes. Not sure where to take it, wether local or in Melbourne somewhere. If anyone can suggest a good reliable place would be great.

Best place in aus aparently

Anyone can service the 80 series auto. Fluid change and throttle cable is all there is to do. If it's driving normal, and the fluid is the right colour then there isn't likely anything wrong with it.

If the whine is only soft, and at high speeds it's probably just normal transfer case gear noise.
