hi all
i have been given a MQ with a 2.8l 4 speed with a divorce transfer
i have cut it all down to just the firewall and floor pan to just behind the drivers seat and doing a SOA, power steering lockers and such and encloseing myself in tube

its going to be a 100% rock crawler buggy so i need reduction

what transfer would be good to mount in the same pos as this one as i cant get gears for this case or any other ideas

both F/R diffs r offset to the drivers side

cheers

Ask in the Toyo section.

Another option is to mount a nissan 720 transfer case in front of the mq case. The rear output of the 720 case will bolt straight up to the input of the mq case

Not "double offset" though. Hilux and Nissan GQ+ are centre rear diff

Yeah its troopy here and I do know where another is but I've got to get the guy to part with it. The 720 case is identical to the nissan case internaly and the shifter from the 720 goes straight up so just reqires a new hole in the tunnel and it gives you the option of 3 ranges
