hj60 2h diesel will not glow the plugs. battery is in good cond only about 3 months old and replaced a voltage regulator at that time. now when i turn the key the 'GLOW' light on the dash barely flicks on for a split second if at all about 2 out of 10 turns i get a slight flick off light from the 'GLOW' light. glow fuse is not blown. wind it over and nothing not even white smoke out the exhaust.

It's common to bypass the relay (behind the glovebox) and put a push button on the dash. My 75 was set up that way.

a lot of cruisers will still glow when light is off, sometimes light goes off and you can hear the relay click out later, leave it a few more seconds and try it, if not most likely relay or bad glow plugs, a quick way to test is to run a thick wire to the glow plug relay straight from battery, if this works then the glow plugs are ok.

Start at the base, check the glow rail for voltage, then check it cuts in and out with relay, if thats all working then pull a glow plug out and hook him up while holding it with pliers and dump the tip in some water, if it sizzles instantly you have good glow plugs, if not they need replacing.
